Please note that due to Covid-19 regulations, We have welcomed our local police to have oversight of what goes on here by giving them the website details. Thus we assumed that all the measures we put in place and broadcast for the party here on 25/7 had been assessed by authorities as adequate.
Yesterday 19.08.20 the police arrived to say that they had an anonymous tipp off that we intended to have over 100 guests for “back to school”. After a couple of hours they said we had allayed their concerns.
Today 20.08.20 we have been asked to spend three hours with health authorities going over the same ground. They were not sufficiently convinced that our trust in some self policing was safely grounded so have asked us to suspend parties until they get that confidence.
We always co-operate with the authorities, so there you have it! Lets meet on the other side and hope that it is this calander year! Stay safe and healthy!
